A Winning Combination
Nobis Logistics, LLC has entered into an agreement with MercuryGate for use of MercuryGate's Web-native, end-to-end transportation management solution ("TMS"). Implementation of this TMS allows Nobis to streamline logistics procedures and costs by linking suppliers and customers through the Internet without the additional expense of a lengthy implementation. Nobis can customize the TMS for customer driven requirements. The technology's hierarchy lets Nobis set up business parameters and operating protocols to reflect individual customer's business practices and rules. Mercury Gate's suite of services permits on line planning, executing and tracking of shipments. It also facilitates real time enroute updates, proof of delivery, accurate billing and claims management. Nobis can set up carrier management, contract rate compliance, order management including master (blanket) order release and reporting. MercuryGate's TMS allows customers to share information among their suppliers, shippers and partners through its' trading partner functionality. The TMS is a comprehensive tool for corporate procurement, suppliers, carriers and receivers.
